Do you want to become a skater with Rodeo City Roller Derby? Recruitment is open!
We welcome skaters of all ages and sizes that identify with the WFTDA Gender statement to our Team, as well as skating referees. We mentor new skaters in skating abilities, how the game is played as well as the official WFTDA rules. No skating experience or roller derby knowledge needed, we’ll teach you everything you need to know.

Helmet
Wrist guards
Mouth guard
Skater Requirements:
You must be at least 18 years old.
WFTDA Insurance ($70 / year )
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination

Interested in becoming a referee?
We are looking skaters of any gender interested in officiating. Referees will need to attend practices to become proficient skaters and learn WFTDA rules and hand signals. Roller derby referees are required to be on skates, quads or rollerblades, and full safety gear.

Interested in helping but not ready to skate?
We need the help of dedicated NSOs (non-skating officials) such as penalty trackers, scorekeepers, and statisticians, to help us run our bouts as well as general volunteers that sell tickets, concessions etc. Please contact us if you are interest or have other skills that you feel you can contribute.

Are you from another league?
If you skate or work with another league and are heading through the area, feel free to contact us! We would love for you to join us for practice, help us out as a guest coach, or lead a workshop. We love meeting new people in the derby community and learning new skills!
