Bio: I'm 34 years old and have been a park/street skater since COVID started. I am passionate about being an LGBTQ ally, I'm a proud Cherokee, and I'm a biophysicist. My favorite person in the world is my daughter, and my favorite thing in the world is teaching. I am probably better than anyone you know at Sonic the Hedgehog. In high school, I made it to state in track (200 meter sprint and long jump) and danced until I was 17. In college I triple majored in undergrad in physics, mathematics, and biology, and minored in astronomy and computer science. My favorite moon in the solar system is Enceladus (cryovolcanism, come on?!) And my favorite planet is Saturn (check out the cassini division and the E ring if you get the chance. Also Titan and the Huygens probe, and anything Mars, haha). Other than that, I make stickers, roller skate accessories, and I love to knit. Despite all of that, roller derby is the most inclusive group I've ever encountered and I cannot recommend the sport enough. I love DMing D&D and watching anything horror. If you're weird, I'll probably like you and then talk your ear off about physics when I'm comfortable with you. You can call me Jess if you run into me. Nice to meet you! :)
