Major injuries: I broke my left fibula during practice in March of 2022, and the first thing I remember saying after hitting the ground was "how long until I can come back to practice?" The recovery was long and tedious, but my teammates at RCR made me feel so loved and cared for that the injury already feels like a distant memory.

Your first day in roller derby: My first practice was on September 11, 2017 with Rolling Hills Derby Dames in Pullman, WA.

Bio: Hello! My real name is Bailey, also known as Rock'em Sock'em or Rock. I am a full time employee at Central Washington University in the Environmental Health and Safety department, as well as a paet time geology graduate student. Roller derby has been my favorite hobby since 2017 when a friend and I took the chance and attended a new skater boot camp for Rolling Hills Derby Dames. Through roller derby, I have forged some of the strongest and fullfilling friendships I have; hitting each other repeatedly really connects you in a special way. When not at practice or scrimmage, I might be crafting, baking, playing video games, watching anime or playing board games with my husband. We also have two pug mixes, Harley and Hank, who I love dearly. If you're at an event, feel free to come say hi! I love making new friends!
